Are the FN SPR enthusiasts extinct?

Leave it long it looks awesome

Another thing ive been contemplating and have done until now, leaving it as is because it is a bit of a unicorn and wont be coming back. That said, Im not a gun collector, I use my rifles and if they dont serve a purpose I dont really need to hang on to them. However, this gun has some sentimental value to me since it was the first real bolt gun I bought and I saved up for over a year to buy it since I was poor but wanted the best. I just think i'd shoot it much more if it had a DBM, was suppressed, and probably had a way to put a PVS30 on it.

I don’t think it’s going to ever be worth collector money. For that reason I say thread it and get the dbm. These two things sound like they will get you using it more often and that is what’s important. Use it and enjoy it, life’s to short to be worried about it being worth money it probably never really will be worth. More value In enjoying it imo! Send it to lri and enjoy it, things awesome

Well, if I was in your shoes, I would certainly not modify it, if it’s not what you desire now? I would sell it…. (I think you would find it will bring really good money being original, except for the paint,), and then build a rifle to meet your current desires (there are FN SPR actions out there for sale), you’d be money ahead, just one perspective, respectfully…..
