Purely curious on its weight from a sidebar conversation. The Area 419 being cnc aluminum, versus other plastic, cnc, and cast funnels on the market. Been on backorder for some time and on the wait list for a set.I have one but I’m just gonna guess. 2.0 ounces.
What do you need that for. Im curious.
Shit man, give me 100 bucks plus shipping costs and I’ll go pick you one up from my local scheelsPurely curious on its weight from a sidebar conversation. Agreed well worth the money. Especially because it comes with the base and inserts for the most common calibers.I like the heft of the 419 funnel.
I think the weight is perfect.
One key difference, the 419 is far less likely to have static adherence issues as a result of the design of the ridges and the material and this does make a difference. The Master funnel kits are upgrades. They won’t reinvent the wheel for anybody.
the $3 plastic funnel from Lee will accomplish the same task.
Same as the $55 aluminum reloading blocks vs the $8 plastic ones. They do the exact same thing....but the aluminum are an upgrade. It’s an individual choice on how you want to feel while at the bench.
I would 100% buy one again, if mine were eaten by billy goats.
NoDo they have an ability or add-on to make it a drop funnel, too?
That was part of the conversation stemming the curiosity, and the lyman being on the heavier side. The Lyman funnel is pretty nice. Not ground breaking. Cutting the handle off of it is a significant improvement.
Exactly what I was going to say. Much better without the handle. Overall, hard to beat. The Lyman funnel is pretty nice. Not ground breaking. Cutting the handle off of it is a significant improvement.
It’s possible to make a drop tube. I don’t use the so no need on my endThat was part of the conversation stemming the curiosity, and the lyman being on the heavier side.
