Suppressors Area 419 or ASR for Omega lite barrel setup?

I have a 7-08 Tikka lite (roughly #2 barrel) I want to run my Omega on. Any pros to one or the other? The 419 weighs twice what the ASR does. Am I wrong thinking I'd have less POI shift with the 419 over the ASR since I'd be removing 5 oz of brake before adding the can. Or does it really make a difference with that lite of a barrel?

Who has run supressors on lite barrels and what would you suggest? Looking for advice before I get the barrel threaded.

Chances are your going to have a POI shift regardless either way due to light contour barrel. If it was mine and I was only going to shoot it with the Omega, I would get a direct thread mount for it.

It will be used both with and without the Omega, just looking for suggestions. I figured I'd see a POI shift, just was not sure which setup to go with if one would be better than the other. Thanks for the reply

I guess that's an option. Was not sure there would be enough shoulder for direct mount. This is my only non magnum bolt gun, so I guess I'm used to running a brake. Thanks for the input, I knew someone had to be running something similar.
