I remember lurking M4C and reading a thread about how bad arfcom was. Someone on M4C mentioned how arfcom had literal faggots posting about being gay and open about it in GD. Pretty sure they were referring to the Kia technician they have over there who never mentions AR15s. Guy is the typical homo. An attention whore.

Some guys post good or interesting stuff occasionally. /pol/ usually has something interesting going on or at least a good humor thread. Yep. EE and hometown is the only reason I ever occasionally poke my head into that place anymore. When I don't have other shit draining my pocket money I'll go full paid member here for buying and selling. Used to sell anything I posted on Arf within hours to a day or 2 but the last couple times I posted stuff I didn't get any hits.
arfcommies also take great pride in having the bolt face sticker on their vehicles and get excited when they see another one in traffic. Apparently they used to offer memberships if you found companies using the bolt face to make money. I still can't believe they managed to trademark the thing.
For the most part, I don't consider them as a relevant source of technical information anymore. The Tech threads get shuffled into the archives, where nobody can continue discussions that are older than a couple months without activity, and all of the screen names have been removed making the threads a bunch of random posts without much continuity. They also haven't had a functioning search engine in years. That leaves the leftist cesspool known as GD as their primary source of traffic and revenue. I'd rather hang with the Howlers, where you can tell the cunts to fuck off without getting banned.

Click whichever forum you want to search and make sure to unclick “search all forums”.
Also before you click the search button, make sure to click on “date” in order to arrange in chronological order. Default is “relevance” and it’s a trash function that shouldn’t exist.

When I was there, Jen came in a banned multiple people herself followed by that werido Nails banning more people. It was a total shitshow and multiple people including myself left the site over it depending on where we posted.
Jen even went on a massive rant about our behavior on the site. Sure, it's her site and she can do as she pleases, but every time I see that shit happen on a site it always comes across as pathetic. American's should be able to handle free speech banter, especially if it's limited to the spots on the site dedicated to it.
