Anyone have experience with these? I live near Corpus Christi and have thought about one of these several times as my first suppressor but always end up with sticker shock. They're pretty light and the carbon fiber doesn't heat up at all (I watched them demo a .338 Lapua).

Just curious if they live up to their reputation.

Re: ARIES Suppressor System

I've been in the store and talked with the guys who do the manufacturing. But I can't seem to find anyone else who has an ARIES system....the sales pitch is good but I always prefer to get a customer's opinion.

Re: ARIES Suppressor System

You could buy 3 nice suppressors for the same cost. Unless you are doing insane strings with the can, you really don't need to worry about the heat on a bolt gun. Also, I am not big on venting gasses back over the exterior of the barrel (that's what it appears to do). I don't think this is much better (if any) than any other mousetrap out there. I would urge you to look into TBAC, SAS and a couple others prior to even considering this one any further.
