Looking to commission some gassers and zero a couple bolt guns and work off the tailgate of my truck. Of course I was looking at Rio and Ben Avery etc. to do so also. But would rather visit them with dialed in rifles I think?

I’ve seen some conflicting information regarding fire restrictions around Tanto Natl Forest land per the land management website. A lot of the BLM areas for that matter.

Not asking for anyone’s spot but maybe a tip or two would be cool. Attached is where I was looking via ON X.

North on 17 and around Queen Creek looks like I’d be more likely to see offroad traffic.

The areas I’m familiar with around Tonopah seem to be filled with more permanent residents.

Thanks in advance.

If you go to Ben Avery, if you can hit a paper plate at 50yds you'll be one of the best shooters on the line.
It all depends on time of day and what group brings you to the range. I pass through AZ on the regular, and somedays it’s good there, other days we get there and look around, and decide for our safety we will just back away…

(This is a bit in jest, as I haven’t felt it’s a safety risk, but somedays it’s certainly better to go out somewhere where you control the access and can RSO your own area.)
