Night Vision Armasight impressions

I've reviewed some of their items on here and bought a spark, illuminator, and various accessories. The only thing I reviewed that I didn't purchase first was a clip on, so it may mean more to you if somebody chimes in that hasn't reviewed their gear. In short, I'm very satisfied. That said, I also have other manufacturers gear that I've purchased and am reviewing, mostly night vision and optic related. What are you looking at specifically?
I myself am looking at the nemesis 4x gen 2+hd and the Co-Mr-Gen 2+id. Either of those worth the $? Not trying to hijack the thread just figure it might save us some time and band width to compile useful reviews.
We hunted with the Gen 2+ Nemisis 4x and 6x this past Monday. The 4x is the white phosphorus tube. I liked it a lot, it was easy to zero and worked really well in the hog killing fields. I will be spending a lot of time with them this weekend and will give you a better idea of likes and dislikes. I'll post pics as well....
I was looking at both the ARMASIGHT CO-LR GEN 3P MG as well as the ARMASIGHT CO-LR Flag MG. They arnt really that far apart on price and I was informed the Flag is actually closer to a Gen 4 NV optic. Wondering if it holds a flame to the PVS-22 NV device. It appears to be a little over 2 inches longer than the PVS-22, so I wonder if mounting options are an issue with this optic. I dont think it will fit on my M4 with an ACOG.

Thanks rade. We all will appreciate it I'm sure. I'm looking for something to let me id things about 200yds at most. Letting my 6x raptor go is one of the biggest mistakes of my life!
I'm not smart enough to answer that question, but that came directly from a company rep of Armasight. May want to ask them but I think it has something to do with having a film-less auto graded ITT photocathode?

Yea, ATN used to tell me the same thing and that's why I don't buy from them anymore either. Hog wash marketing.
Former president of ATN is now owner of Armasight that has been discussed here. Majority of gear still made in the same place in Russia, just not buying it's some drastically different company. Gen 4 this, white phoshor that, all the same type of marketing gizmos.
Ok here are a few of the victims from this weekend's hunting adventures.
For reference the camo Ambush Firearms 5.56 is mine and the Black Ambush Firearms 5.56 is my buddies. On my gun is the Nemisis Gen2+ QS it has the white phosphorus tube. The clarity of this scope was great. I'm sure somebody will call "bs" but I swear I was able to spot a 250 lb sow at well over 500 yds. The only reason I was not 100% sure that it was a hog was because there were seven bears in the field with us at the same time. At that distance they both look like big black things eating peanuts. We put a quick stalk on her and quickly realized that it was a good sized hog. One shot one kill.... head shot from about 80 yds out.
The coyote was a victim of a phone call. While we were hunting hogs, I had a local landowner call me and say that he was having problems with the coyotes on his plantation. After shooting the sow we picked up and headed over there. On the first stand, I called in a triple. I was able to drop one of them in the field and my Capt. shot another one that we did not recover. The White phosphorus is great, I hit the coyote with my IR illuminator and his eyes light up like 60 watt light bulbs. I was able to see the different shades of color in his coat and shot him trotting at about 120 yds. My Capt shot the other one at about 200 yds but it was in tall grass and was heading away. Heard the bullet impact but just could not locate the yote.
The two pigs that are lying together. We shot them off of a feeder at about 50 yds. It felt like we were cheating. We were calling the hogs that we were going to kill by giving each other very detailed descriptions. The scopes performed perfectly. Both were head shots with no exit wounds. (60 gr Vmax 5.56 from C+W Tactical)
For hunting I like the 4x better than the 6x. It is easier to find your game quickly and it is not as heavy as the 6x. The illuminators that we tested were Streamlight Supertac IR and the Armasight IR850w. The Armasight worked well and was used on the Black Ambush 5.56. But I don't think it can hold an "IR candle" to the Streamlight Supertac IR.
As for the white phosphorus tube VS the standard green tubes....I liked the white phosphorus tubes better than the green. It was brighter and easier to see animals than the green. I know that there are other people that can not get used to the white, because of their experience and time on the green tubes.
All and all I was very impressed with both of these scopes. You can not beat the image quality and ease of use. With a price tag of under 2k you can't go wrong. And if you want to spend a little more you can get the Gen 3 stuff and still be under $3400.

It's been assumed on here, has it been actually verified? Not being a wise ass, just asking if that is fact.

They are all going to have similar products because they are all in the same competitive market. Until someone comes out with an all new system that truly changes the night vision game. It is no different that Ar-15's. Everyone has a better mouse trap. It is up to you to determine which one fits you and your budget the best. I can tell you that I have not seen the white phosporus on the market until recently. To me it is a better mouse trap for hunting, I cant speak for the tactical world because I have not used it at work yet.

So I just got word form my contact at Armasight that Armasights CO-LR GEN 3P is actually manufactured in San Francisco. I didn't really get an answer as to wear the rest of their line is made. Just thought I would share.

Yes they are with some assembled here in the states but they call it made in the USA. More hog wash marketing like ATN does.

I'm currently have a Zeus 3 640 X 512 and a clip on LR gen 3 Pinnacle tube and various IR illuminators and mounts. I will be running these units through some testing, "At the commercial level". These guys are good guys, trying to provide quality products from the low end of the spectrum to the high end.
I'm quite positive, that they will address any problems that people are having with their products
