So, picked up an old gen 1 armasight Prime 6x. Works decently, not terrible quality image. Picked it up for about $30 so if it's a bust, not too worried. But the only issue with it is, the image is flipped. Tried emailing armasight to see about an exploded view or diagram or something because it seems the previous owner messed with the lenses without knowing what they were doing. So, if anyone happens to have knowledge of these or how the lenses are oriented maybe even an old digram of the NVD itself that shows the internals it would be much appreciated

If I remember right I read in another thread that someone had bought the Armasight name and that they were possibly going to service older equipment. Former Armasight employees getting the band back together or something.

I'm aware of that. This was supposedly a new venture under the Armasight name. I can't find the thread so hopefully someone in the know can comment.

I wasn’t aware of that, that could be good news. I have been impressed with some of Armasights products. i reached out to them to T&E about 6 monoculars with verying tubes, all performed well. I just couldn’t get the blessings of the bosses to spend the money on NV.

Here's the email I got today, so no help with even lense orientation. But, it settles the questions here!

"Joel,

Thanks for the clarification - the Prime DC 6x was discontinued during the period that Armasight was owned by FLIR, from June 2016 to December 4, 2020.

Unfortunately, the Prime DC is no longer supported for service.

Yep Armasight is back. And im glad. Flir absolutely sucks.
Im currently getting my Zeus Pro 640 100mm lens fixed on a RMA.
The AR coating just up and flaked off and its still under warranty. Bought from stupid opticsplanet in January 2022 so my warranty is 3 years from registration.
Armasight has new scopes utilizing 12um pitch sensors but sadly they're 320 resolution which doesn't translate. Im hoping they come out with 640 versions. Then you'll see the difference from 17um to 12um tech.
A bit off topic Lol
