Rifle Scopes Athlon Ares ETR/Vortex Viper PST gen2

Has anyone here had the scopes side by side and did a comparison. They are very close in price if you shop around for both. Looking at specs the Athlon seems to have the edge but specs on paper obviously don’t tell the whole story. I have been looking at one of these scopes or a Burris XTRii for a DMR build. I had a XTRii so I know what I’m getting there but I haven’t got behind the other two.

@Eoddave27, you won’t find a much more comprehensive comparison than the one posted above by @S3th.

In the end however, it all comes down to you needing to get eyes on the scope to make a decision as we all perceive things differently.

Wow! That is a pretty comprehensive review. One of the best I have seen. I suspected the Ares ETR was going to be a superior optic and that confirms it. At least from the reviewers perspective. That review covers a lot of the short comings of the Viper PST that I never would have know without spending time behind one. Thanks for posting that.
