I received payment and order confirmation for a MIL ETR on July 5th and still waiting...…. like an idiot. Forum advertisers should perform and communicate at a higher level.

Calpatriot- as indicated by others your problem is the zero stop. Unscrew the turret cap and you will see a brass disc with three tiny set screws - this is your zero stop. Loosen screws and move brass disc further up turret and you will find your "missing" mils......
We will have both the brown and black sunshades (SKU# 212100S Black and SKU# 212100SB Brown) They are currently still in production and have not released yet.
I am thinking about picking up the ARES ETR for my 6BR PRS build. Reading through the comments here I haven't see too many issues. Has anyone had to send theirs back due to poor QC issues? I am really debating the GEN 2 PST or a Used Razor 2 but this ARES ETR fits in perfect between the two and has an optimal zoom range.
My measurements vs Vortex's fitment guide looked questionable. Thanks for taking the lead.I ordered a set of Vortex Defender caps for mine. They’re supposed to arrive Monday, I can report on fitment.
No clue, but it was a bit frustrating. I do wish that the turret caps and the zero stop just used allen wrenches since it's a scope aimed at precision rifle competitors (the new reticle is named the "APRS1" and is mentioned to be specifically designed for PRS) and literally nothing else on a normal PRS rig uses a standard screwdriver but plenty of items use allen wrenches. It's like the zero stop and turret caps were designed for hunters (use pocket change and a screwdriver, both more likely to strip out with frequent use than hex keys) and the rest of the scope was geared towards competitors.Huh, I figured these would have the Midas tac style zero stop. I wonder why they choose the Phillips head screws.
Looks like the tenebraex covers for NF 56mm are same as the chronus, so I just ordered the obj adapter and cap. We'll see if it works on the ETR.
Anyone able to give me the lowest ring mount this scope can take? I'm getting one this week and am putting it on a AR with a full rail. I'd like to sit it down as far as possible. Confused myself with to center and to bottom ring mounts.... suggested rings that do't break the bank would be swell.

^^ edit? The Pepr mount to center is 1.35inch not enough...![]()
I just received Ares ETR in the mail. I will be looking at it shortly.
