So I just got my Atlas in the mail from Triad Tactical (great company to deal with!). Like a kid on Christmas morning I tore open the package and propped it open under my AICS stock (Note to people with an AICS Spigot thinking about getting an Atlas, buy the BT10NC, not the BT10, or you'll have to purchase the rail adapter to make it work, I didn't do enough homework before purchasing). I go to turn the adjustment knob and it wont move, I work up my strength like I'm opening a jar of pickles and the knob won't budge. "Hmm, maybe a little manipulation will break it loose", so I wrap the heck out of it with masking tape and try and carefully loosen it with a pair of channel locks. It still was locked up tighter then a set of lug nuts that just came out of Lex Broadies. I ended up popping the cap off the bottom and loosening the nuts. There where four small washers under the smaller nut, with everything slacked out I can only get two of the washers in (thickest one, and one lock washer) to have decent thread engagement to hold the adjustment knob on. Do I risk the knob working itself loose and having to search through the dirt/grass at the shooting range, or will it be ok with half of the washers taken out? Thanks!!
