I have heard of people have trouble with the legs being tight on the atlas but I can't get the swivel nut to loosen up to adust the bipod swivel. Don't want to force this but i have had 2 other people try to hand loosen the nut without success. Should I pad the nut and use channel locks or am I doing something wrong? Anyone else having this problem. Not the legs (I read the post on that before I extended them) just the swivel nut.

If you just got it dont worry. It takes a bit to loosen up, it will work itself to were it can be twisted tight or loose. Just a break in period on that knob

radmcg, I have no idea what you are calling the "swivel nut" maybe the "Knob" (large round flat thing on bottom)? If so, can you move the knob at all and if so, how much?
