Thanks for the quick answer. I wish this forum would populate the 'to' field as you type like other forums. I could have just typed Triad and it would have come up but I wasn't sure if it was that or Triad Tactical or some combination of them.

Re: atlas bipods in stock?

Thanks a ton for the interest in the Atlas, we really appreciate it and are striving to eliminate the out of stock situation across the board.

However, as we have another contract obligation to fullfill, for the next monthth, the best play remains to order one from your favorite dealer and wait.

Thanks again.

Re: atlas bipods in stock?

I accidentally ordered a no clamp version through triad tactical.. When I went back on the website to look for a clamp on version.. THEY WERE SOLD OUT!!!! I was so pissed at myself for making that mistake.

Luckily I found one off of another site and recieved the shipping confirmation today!

Re: atlas bipods in stock?

Are the tops of the "no clamp", "clamp" and "QD clamp" models all the same so if one gets a no clamp and decides to put an ARMS or LaRue mount on it or the new AI spigot they are all inter changeable?

That said why is the clamp and no clamp model the same price?

Lastly can one "stack" extensions to get 24" or so for shooting in tall grass?

Thanks
Pat

Re: atlas bipods in stock?

the BT10 has a mounting feature built in that uses two screws that clamp it to the rail.

The BT10-NC has a interface surface that is used for Lever mount OR the AI Spigot OR the TRG Spigot OR the soon to be released Bitter and Twisted mount.

The BT10 and BT10-NC are the same price because the difference in manufacturing costs were pennies apart. The BT10-LW17 has the ADM lever mount on it which makes it 60.00 more.

Yes, you can stack the legs up but here is a suggestion, the ID of the outer legs is .50", a common size for dowel rods, cut one to the length you need and your at 24" for about 200.00 less than if you used the extensions to get to 24".

Thanks for your interest.

So the BT10-NC is what will be needed for the TRG mount when it's finally released, correct? Can this also mount to a pic rail or would it need a separate mount to mount to a standard pic rail or is it one or the other?

Yep, I got it now. Good thing I asked because I was about to order up a V8 w/the twin screw attachment style since I have a pic rail on the TRG now but the ultimate plan is to have the spigot adapter. Hurry up with that thing already!

why we all seem to be getting Kasey's bipod.

Re: atlas bipods in stock?

I haven't fully adjusted to Atlas yet - but it behaves better than Harris.

Oh and his monopod for AICS - feels so much better than the one that comes with DTA SRS. The ability to fine-tune its height infinitely (smooth continuous adjustment) vs. pre-defined fixed steps (like bipod legs) on the monopod is crucial IMHO. So being spoiled by Kasey's monopod I almost couldn't use SRS monopod! Felt too crude - one position is too high, the next one too low!

Kasey, d'you hear? Make a substitute monopod for DTA SRS rifle!
