Atlas vs Harris bipod

I sold my Harris after buying my Atlas with SOAR mount - for me the Atlas + RRS SOAR mount is a huge improvement because I can mount it anywhere under my chassis (arca cut) or on the spigot mount (MPA comp chassis / Vudoo v22). You can also put the legs at different angles, where my Harris would not. Neither are bad, IMO, but for me the Atlas gives me more.

i recently switched to atlas'.

what i find most advantageous, the bipod never collapses by mistake

they are a higher quality piece of kit, but i dont shoot any better

I purchased an Atlas last year and really like everything about it but have no intentions of getting rid of my Harris bipods.
I just use them diffently and mix and match bipods for different uses.
The Harris bipods I use primarily on my hunting rifles since they are lighter and quicker to deploy i also have one of the Wheeler carbon bipods I keep on my 10/22 since it weighs very little with the Tac-Sol barrel.

After looking at them all for a while I ended up ordering the PSR as I wanted the cant and pan features.
If you dont want all of the features there are several other models that some prefer since not everyone needs or wants the pan feature and save you a little money.
The Atlas CAL model seems to be a popular choice around here but I haven't actually had my hands on one yet.

I have a few of both. Atlas is mar higher quality.
In the field I never use them. The Harris is so much better. Now I am finding I utilize the RRS tripod most often.
