Attention Shoppers. Here is where to NOT buy your coffee LINKS TO VOLCANIC COFFEE NOW IN THREAD Stay tuned for some TheGerman related coffee offerings

I've bought BRCC coffee, goes okay through my Jura machine.
Good on them for not supporting some little turd that needs to carry a gun at a protest.
Weak as piss to wobble around with a firearm, because words might hurt your feelings.
Pretty sad when you don't have the verbal skills to engage in a discussion.
Makes about as much sense as vandalising your own seat of government.
It's okay though, just claim mental illness... which cycles around to taking a firearm to a public protest...View attachment 7569865
A public protest ? Apposed to what, a private protest? Bless your heart. No you can't go outside yet, you have your shoes on the wrong feet.

Tell you what. When Twitter dumped Donald I waited until the end of that Monday (I think it was) and bought a bunch of that stock at a discount. It’s since gone up past where it dropped from. Sold since I didn’t intend to hold a company I don’t actually like long-term and made more than enough to take a quick Florida trip (after taxes). I’m sure BRCC is doing fine. Slight dip and back to normal. Just like with Twitter, the market easy forgets.
Ok there Paper Hands Portnoy 😉

De Espresso Liber coffee through an aeropress for the last 5yrs.

Good selection of single origin beans. A few blends with different themes (and roast levels). Several charity memorial blends. Choose your roast level with the single origins.

Owner is a stand-up guy and generally freshly roasted coffee is in my grubby hands 2-3 days after ordering (quite a feat since he's in the PNW and I'm in SE GA. I work in an ER and he sent 15# of ground for the ER during the peak of covid-craziness.

never have to switch coffee ever again it's pure Juan Valdez Colombian coffee or it's snot

picked straight from the butts of those funny little cats that eat the beans to your cup mmm that's a good cup of coffee
:oops:(y)(y)(y) proud sponsor of drug producers world wide , drug runners , and every day people making a run across country for the boarder .

OK SO........ which coffee grinder is the go to? The antique cranks? the electric stainless models? does it matter? Though, I have heard that the size and cut of the ground does make a difference. I'm definitely picking up one of those old pyrex perculators off ebay. So, here again is another goddamned rabbit hole that I am only too eager to jump into.....But I love good black coffee and I still remember the french press kona i had at Disney Polynessian resort all those years ago.

Definately a rabbit hole, not nearly as bad as reloading or BRD tho. Hand cranked grinder (~$30), on the left takes about 2min to grind one scoop to aeropress grind. Aeropress kit is about $30 (there's a few variations). The cannister keeps the beans fresh with an inner lid that compacts over the beans. I used the hand grinder for years, easy to travel, took it to Guard drill, etc. I broke down and got the electric. Main thing with the electric ones is some sort of isolation of power source so the beans don't heat up and "conical burr grinder." Eleven seconds to glory. In the time it takes to heat the water the beans grind and the press is set up. We're in hurricane country, with this setup and a hiking stove I have coffee regardless of power. Works for me.

Whats your budget?

Drip or espresso?

I definitely would like yo get both a hand grinder as well as an electric. I do not plan on doing the fancy coffee. Just going to see how the glass percolator does. I do want to get something for the campfire as well.

I bet you think it was a peaceful protest....

I use a aero press and Handground manual grinder for my camper and hunting.

i got in on their Kick Starter deal so i didnt pay retail but ive had it for years now and it still grinds beans very well.

I have machines take care of all my light work so that when I wake up the coffee is either ready to go, or all I have to do is hit a button. You can puff all you want, but I seriously doubt you could tell the difference between hand grinding the beans and the new, superautomatic machines.

I know I can't tell the difference between the Saeco and some tattooed, barista, fuckwad hand packing my coffee. The Saeco isn't a communist and doesn't disgust me either. I'd probably shoot the barista if I caught them in my house.

Whatever you do get a burr grinder not one of those shit ass rebranded spice grinders. I got the Javapress and it’s decent enough for my aero press. If I had a machine or drank more than one cup a day I’d get something with more output.

I’m lucky to have a local roaster that does batches weekly so I can always get a fresh bag on the weekends or get a sample of a new roast.

Can't be overemphasized enough, grinder will make or break you.

Portable hand Grinder? Kinu hands down.

Youtube search "James hoffman", he's got a great channel and pulse on the third wave coffee movement, and has a specific hand grinder show down.

Why does the amazing shit gotta be so fucking good? And expensive?

Maybe this'll help:

This:

vs this:

Both are 10x. Both have a hinge in the center. Both are called binoculars.

That's where the comparisons end.

I hate spending money, but I hate throwing it away on cheap shit even more.
With my retired/disability income, I cannot afford cheap shit. I'll just do without instead.

Coffee? Cheap, bad tasting? No fucking way. I'll drink iced tea or plain water.
Fuck, I'd drink almond milk before I'll drink shitty coffee, and I hate milk.

My daughter brought me some coffee from a local roaster in Safety Harbor.

Fuck, that shit was really, really good.
Now I'm gonna need to do an 80 mile round trip to buy more.

80 miles isn't shit out west. 80 miles here in the Tampa Bay areas blows sweaty donkey dick.

Your company positioned itself as rabidly Pro America/Pro-Constitution/Pro Second Amendment.

I think we are faced with circumstances at this point in time that there is no longer room for negotiation.

Its a sad, somewhat scary, state truthfully.

I think your company position is to ride a non-existent middle ground at a time when the other side is supported by companies that are willing to go all in to support stripping us of essential freedoms, as well change the systems that have allowed you to achieve a great level of success.

I was attracted to the company for the superficial message but left when I learned that's only for appearances not heart felt core values.

I respect your right to think differently but I will spend my money elsewhere with those that share my beliefs about America and the Constitution.

Though you have left me I hope you can appreciate that I am trying my best to maintain the America that has provided your founder and its employees great opportunity and success.

Sincerely,

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback!

Hey Phil,

While I am not able to completely dive into this with you, I will say this. The company has come out in support of a socialist power grab, while simultaneously throwing a very young man under the BLM bus for defending his own life multiple times one evening in Kenosha Wisconsin. We have attempted to back pedal and cover up our true feelings towards the matter and explained through different videos that have been put out. We are avid supporters of which ever way the wind blows and all those who don’t pay enough attention to know where we actually stand. If you require any further information on the matter, I respectfully ask that you check out our social media where we can continue to attempt to blow smoke up your ass.
Huh... it sounds different when you read it a second time. 🤷‍♂️
