I don't see much information on them in here. MKM is the sole distributor for them in the US, or was? Bought one today with the 31% off code. Looks similar enough to the Spuhr mounts for less, especially with the discount code. $242 after all said and done a lot easier on the wallet compared to $400+ for a Spuhr.

I saw a handful of people that said they like them and use them on all their rifles. Anyone else have experience with these mounts?

Kudos to MKM on the quick shipping! And man these are nice and the packing is top notch!

I use an "Adversus" mount for my March 5-42x56. Bought it because "March" mounts were actually made by Audere. I was surprised to learn that they are made in San Marino. I can't complain about that mount, but the rifle did not see much use because of COVID-19 and other reasons. So my experience is pretty limited.

I've been happy with my purchases at MKM. But, without a discount it's a little known/unknown mount at roughly the same prices as a Spuhr, and more than an ARC mount. No thanks.

Is this better than the SPERM mount!?

Well, between "oh dear!" and "sperm" mounts it is a tough call.

I do have both and kinda like them. For the money, the SPRM mount is actually pretty nice. I have one they make for the S&B Ultra Short and I like it so far. I do not know if I'd be itching to pay extra for the Audere mount and the accessory plates are, I think, better fleshed out with SPRM mount.

I have that one also. Despite my dislike of the hinges, I like it overall. The accessory mounting interface is very clever.

Ilya, can ARC's hinge cause tracking or return to zero issues like what happened in Frank's Alaska class a few years ago? Ever since that report was made I've avoided vertically split rings.

How would ya'll compare these to the MPA BA mount?
    They're both about $250.
I was set on the MPA, but these look snazzy.

    Edit: NM.
    Audere is almost $100 more.

Hola everyone, you'll like these mounts/rings/rails quite a bit. They're simply top notch and have a good variety of options, all diameters covered and several cants on their Adversus line, etc.

At full price I'd put em up against a Spuhr anyday, and that is full well having plenty of experience with Spuhr and having the opinion they are excellent.

    Any questions, let me know!

I have an Adversus II mount (Audere said there probably aren’t any gen I mounts left at retailers and the gen II had just a few minor improvements). It seems as well made as my Spuhr’s and cost $250 out the door. Also, Spuhr accessories seem interchangeable…unlike on Hawkins.

The specific problem with vertically split rings is when one piece is attached to clamp both the scope and the rail. The tolerance stackup is essentially unmanageable to properly grip both pieces with a common adjustment interface. The fact that the split for the scope happens to be vertical, with modern manufacturing for ring and scope, is not an issue - and with rifle ergonomics, a horizontal split ring cannot grip both the scope and the rail with a common adjustment interface.

The Spuhr's come in a cardboard box for $70 more.
To be honest you can get those "fancy" cases from China for damn near the price of a nice cardboard box. I would prefer the fancy plastic all day, but it's not an expensive endeavor either way. A trip to Aliexpress will open your eyes!

No doubt. I think it’s called Harbor Freight.
Apparently Trijicon, EoTech, Aimpoint, Holosun, Audere and all these other companies shop there. 🤣
Except Spuhr. Cost more and still cardboard. Respect ✊

Audere cases are manufactured in Italy by a company called "Negrini plastic cases", they also make cases for a lot of companies of firearms industry like Beretta, Sig Sauer, Benelli, etc.. The prices of a Negrini plastic case and a carboard box are comparable.

cardboard is recyclable, plastic is not or i should say it seems they prefer not to recycle it

I have had Audere mounts now for little over a year, very well made Italian mounts, and also other scope rings.
You may see nice pictures of these on my insta account.
