This month is the "one and done" month.
I shot one round at 200 and one at 300,with 12 sighters at 200,18 at 300.

The 200 yarder is my personal best. I wasn't even gonna shoot that day. The range was packed with guys sighting in muzzle loaders and hunting rifles. I think having an audience might have helped me focus. Those guys thought I was a kook in my coat,laying on the ground,shooting 200 with a RF rifle...until they saw the target.

I got out this morning for a little and shot at 200 & 300. Have had not had any practice time this month, been working 60-70 hours a week and just too HOT!! Not sure I will have time for another outing before dove season starts so I decided to go ahead and post these now.

200 yard prone was a personal best.

I finally did it. It was my first time shooting in an absolute dead calm at 200 with my RWS R50. Since it was at my ranch, I was able to shoot at a true 200. I am going to do another post on this because I used a new technique, which is to make a home made shoot 'n c and staple it over the target.

I am unable to shoot from prone @ 100yds due to the landscape; so, I shot from 135yds (and still had a hard time seeing above the grass). I was shooting Wolf MT ammo using a bipod up front. There was only a slight breeze but I don't think it was affecting the rounds. I was dialed up 11.75MOA from a 50yd zero.

First time shooting for score at 200. Very humbling after looking at all the fine shooting on here at 200 and 300.

Already the end of August, now looking to September - back to school and a day dedicated to not working - yet called Labor Day. Perhaps should have been called Strike day!

Congratulations to all that place at the top of where they competed, and another 250 score posted by Mr. Mayfield. It will be interesting as we head into the fall (and cooler weather) to hear how or if everyone's POI or dope may change.
