PRS Talk Average Round Count for a COF?

Hey everyone,

Haven't been making many matches lately. Are the average rounds for a COF still around 10 or are they starting to increase a little? 12? 14?

Just depends on the match. 2 day match is 200-250 rnds.

Add mag changes to practice routine and won’t matter much.

8-12 on standard stages. Had a KYL stage that was unlimited within the time. Regional 1 day matches 90-110. 2 day pro 200-250.

The AI match a few weeks ago was probably the largest number of stages over 10 rounds I have seen at a single match - I think we had 7 total with 11 or 12 rounds. Since I can only run AWs, I was doing a lot of mag changes.

Most matches I've shot are 180-220 rounds, with some running fewer, and the occasional barrel-killer like Heatstroke (250ish the year I shot it).

Thanks guys. Was making a lr/sr pmag 10 extension and was trying to decide how long to make it as I would prefer it to be as short as possible.
