AW mags and AX mags

Gents are AW double stack mags compatible with AX double stack mags?

I've heard the AW mags will work in the AX, but not the other way around. Never tried it though.

Which rifle do you have and what mags have you got?

I've verified it. AWs work in AXs. AXs will not work in AWs.

I own 2 aw in 260 and 308 and have just purchased an 65 creedmoor AX from mile high and was wondering If i can interchange the mags?

The aw's will work in the AX. But not the other way around. Look at the top front of the mags. Noticed the AX is has its lip bowed out, while the AWs don't.

So in your best opinion buy AW mags ? This way I don't get them inadvertently mixed up in a rush. Have you experienced any feeding problems out of the AX with AW 10 round double stack mags Poison 123?

Zero feeding problems. Its light a finely turned german automobile........

The only difference is the front locking lug that AI added to the AX magazine. It will prevent the AX mags from inserting into the AW magwell. While AW mags will fit into the AX, if you have the latter rifle system and need more magazines for it, buy the actual AX mags - they should lock up better, particularly if you're doing any positional shooting that might put pressure onto the inserted mag body.
