I competed in the NF ELR Steel Challenge last year with a Barrett MRAD 300nm, got hooked and am now on the hunt for a good LA chassis. I bought a Coupe De Grace LA, thought I was getting hooked up with a TACSWAP deal because I bought a Xylo LA chassis for it in a package....got it yesterday in the mail, the dummy sent me a SA, so I am now on the hunt for a chassis or stock. I'm looking to build a 300wm for practice then barrel/bolt face swap prior to going back out to NF/other ELR matches.

In a perfect world, I will second-hand find a Xylo LA again for $1100 somehow or R700 AXSR chassis less than $2600 shipped and be all sunshine and rainbows, but I am not having any luck when it comes to buying new/avoiding atrocious lead times. My goal is to get a 300wm built out by the last week of January.

Any pointers? Advice? Pros/Cons of your recommended chassis or stock?

I have researched
AWC Xylo
AI AXSR
XLR Envy Pro LA
Spuhr SICS LA
KRG C4 / Whiskey-3 / X-Ray
Accuracy Solutions F.A.S.T.
Manners MCS Stock
Foundations Stock
MPA Matrix Pro-II / Matrix

Am I missing anything else???..........Have you guys who own a CDG LA not liked any of the above?

I have a MDT ACC on the way for my CDG LA. A friend uses one for the same action and likes it a lot.

I own 3 SA ACC’s and like the long front end.

There’s also the F.A.S.T. Chassis as another option, I’ve no personal experience with this one.

Yeah I had a SA ACC and it wasn't bad, modular but I wasn't in love with it

I'll tell you one thing that might not work is a long action aiat chassis. The rear of the trigger hanger you can mill out some of the aluminum chassis, but the front bumps into the mag stop which seems to be a steel bracket threaded into the aluminum of the chassis. I haven't had the courage to hit it with the dremel yet

Over the years I've had various chassis/stocks, McCrees, couple different versions of AI, Manners. What I've got a bunch of is MPA's. BA competition models for rimfire, PRS, and ELR.
Even short an long action ultra lite versions for hunting.
I just really like the feel of them, very comfortable behind them, personal choice.

Decided to go with an Element 4.0.....though it isn't an ELR chassis at all, I've got weights to add to the side, will rock a MTU Bartlein 26" and run a BipodeXt with ACC-50 Bipods + Sleds.....but still be able to strip it all down and use it for hunting as well
