    Looks like a budget Tarac

"Invented by John Baker of TACOMHQ, the patented Second Zero®, is a prism driven optical device configured to bend light at a precise minute of angle to achieve an additional zero (second zero) downrange."

Anyone play with one of these yet? Not sure how precise it is, but might be fun to put on a 22 to shoot ELR.

Agreed, this isn't going to be of much utility on a higher end optic with target turrets and good tracking. They do mention custom offset models, but the prices mentioned make it seem to be less than worth it for most uses.

Seems like an odd idea, can't see why you would use this in the advertised purpose other than if using a Fudd scope.

11moa extra extends the max range of my 22lr from 400m to 430m, so not particularly useful.
But I see they advertise you can get one made with a custom elevation change, if they could do 50moa+ then that'd be pretty nifty for around $60-$70.

Yep, just pulled out my ballistic calculator and saw the same thing. Only 30 yards or so. Dam those 22s fall quickly at distance. Guess I need to start saving up for for a Charlie.

    Hi,

Looks like they are just trying to make a prism cheaper than the NF Prism.

    Sincerely,
    Theis
The Alpha Tarac is already cheaper than the NF prism, and neither this nor the Alpha Tarac are in competition with the NF. So it doesn't look like that at all.

Too bad the custom units start at $360.
