December 17th at 8AM Phoenix Rod and gun club is the AZ LRPRS monthly match. You'll need 50 rounds. Ranges are from 300 to 710 yards. This is the long range portion of the TPRC. If your are shooting the TPRC or on the stand by list, you CAN NOT shoot the monthly match.

Re: AZ LRPRS monthly match

Looks like Jimmy and I will make it. Aron too, if his gynecologist signs him off.

Anyway, after the beating that Phoenix handed out the other day in our home turf I figured it was time to upgrade Vegas' kit.

I just wanted to make you guys aware of this so that when we see each other you are not overcome by this awesomeness. Please know that it is still me and there is no reason to be intimidated even thought that will be your first reaction.

I figure some before and after pictures are warranted.

Before: pretty sweet, but mildly creepy.

After: total carnage!

For those about to rock, we salute you!

Anyway, no reason to worry, it's not like Vegas is going to permanently leave our flag at Phoenix Rod and Gun club after this match or anything.....we will be humble.......

Right? That's what I've been saying!

Every time my wife sees me she weeps. I'm pretty sure they are tears of joy. I just hold her and tell her "I know baby, its overwhelming for me too".

Dude, as a fellow member of facial hair awesomeness you shouldn't have gone there. I'm pretty sure you just pissed off Tom Selleck, Sam Elliot, and Chuck Norris. Way to go.

I don't care that Chuck Norris thinks you're gay, that shit's funny right there, even though your sporting a Spence flesh colored goatee!

Looking forward to shooting with everyone again!

Good job Ty, good thing you didn't go chase cats. </div></div>

Between Ty's new facial hair and the tiny baby Jesus he was carrying around, no one could catch up. LOL.

Re: AZ LRPRS monthly match

Thanks AZ! Really fun match. I particularly enjoyed the..............and when the.......did the........ Also it was satisfying when I got to tell Steve that he can be an ...hole. Damn, how much longer do we have to be all cloak and dagger?

Seriously though, amazing match as usual. Good seeing all of you guys, and was fun getting to know the Flagstaff guys better. Much credit to Joe and Dane for making me a barrel that George G would be proud to say that he made.

Can't wait until next months covert shoot.

Ty

Hahaha that cracked me up.

Thanks again to the AZ crew for putting on a great match and thanks to Tim and Regina for your hospitality.

Looking forward to next month.

Re: AZ LRPRS monthly match

Great job Ty!
...you didn't tell me anything I haven't heard-it's all good! Damned glad to see you all again.

Says something when we have more out of town support than local, but there are a lot of new shooters coming out too, so I think we're on the right track!

DM-give me a call or shoot me an email and we can get your scope up and running!

Re: AZ LRPRS monthly match

Thanks to Tim3Gun and JF Comfort for the invitations and encouragement to show up. It was my 1st precision rifle match and I learned plenty of new stuff. It was cool to meet several shooters from AZ and NV as well.
Thank you all for your patience and answering my many questions. I look forward to shooting with you all again in the future. The burger joint was awesome too.
Now its back to Alaska to work a bit and knock out some reloads for next time!
Thanks again.
