So I'm spec-ing out a rifle I'd like to eventually purchase. Looking at stocks now. The rifle would be intended for range work <600 yds and hunting (but primarily range work).
I'm looking into the B&C tactical medalist. My budget is in that $300 range.
Pros for me include: vertical grip that's not a pistol grip (I really like pistol grip angles, but do not like removing my hand to cycle the action). Aesthetics. Price.
Cons: wide bottom (would have issues shooting out of monopod). Weight. Will need to be bedded (but common in this price range)
Can anyone weigh in on anything I may be missing, reviews, or alternative?
