Photos Back yard range

Wow, scenery is awesome wherever that is.
Between nucla and Cortez Colorado. Have 40 acres two miles from rim of canyon. Most remote part of state. That’s the Dolores river
Hope you are not offended by the following but.....

you suck!

That is Envy, a deadly sin.
Thanks after living half of my life in city’s had to come home. Just retired and grew up in Cortez Colorado. The photo of canyon is about 50 miles north of Cortez and very remote

No pics, but I currently have an indoor shooting house (some A/C and heat) built inside my barn which shoots out over a 30 yard pistol range. Whenever I get a berm up, it has the capability to transform into a 300 yard rifle range as well.

My main shooting position is a 300 yard outdoor rifle range, with a 100 yard target with berm, and a 300 yard berm that catches bullets from the 200 and 300 yard targets. I don't do it often, but I can get 400 yards moving back with a portable bench set up in the driveway. I just brought home a load of wood to build a 2-story structure over the shooting bench to a) cover the position to provide much needed shade and cold weather wind protection, and b) allow an elevated prove position as ground-level prone cannot see past the 100 yard target due to ground contour.

Once the elevated position is up, there is a small possibility my relationship with the neighbor could convince him to allow 1000 yard shots onto his property...

I too am jealous. Mostly of the scenery. I’ve got a lot of places to shoot out here in the sticks but it just ain’t that Purdy here abouts lol

No just east of montacello Utah in western Colorado About 4 miles south of Egner Colorado end 8 miles east to rim of canyon. Dolores river. Area is in part of the disappointment valley
