I saw this thread on installation of a bipod rail:
http://www.snipershide.com/forum/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2886642&page=1

It looks like no one has been on there in a while, and the bits don't seem to be around anymore. I ordered a badger ordnance bipod rail for a manners mcs-t3, but am not sure what I need. I need to know:

1. Does the rail come with the t-nuts in addition to the button head screws, and,

2. What type of counterbore bit do I need to buy to do this correctly?

Don't wanna screw up this stock. I just got it back from APA finished up, and didn't think of the bipod rail. Bought an LRA bipod for it, and it's great, just didn't want to use little crappy adapter. I wanted to do it right. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Re: badger bipod rail install.....HELP PLEASE!

Home depot has t-nuts and machine screws. If a recall right mine were m5-.8 thread pitch although that might be wrong or close. I used a 1/2 ryobi counterbore bit for my stock as I installed the shorter 2" atlas rail and didnt want to have to two huge holes so close together. Take your time and re-read the post by 427cobra. You should be fine.
