Do you bore the break or just measure and go. I had the gunsmith thread the barrel from the print but did not notice it needed to be bored. I suppose ill measure it but im assuming thats not good enough. Your thought please.

You have to bore the hole for the bullet to fit through. Do not bore the back part where it clamps on, barrel has to be turned down to the dim. in the drawing

The diameter needs to be bored. I can't remember what diameter Marty produces them at, but you'll want it to be about .010"-.015" larger than bullet diameter. Marty advised me on how to do it, but I just had Moon do it once I got the brake (it was a special thread).

    If it were me.

Single point bore the 1st and 2nd port hole. I go up one caliber in size. It doesn't hurt performance at all and ensures carbon loading doesn't choke the bore mid string in a match.

Boring is advantageous over other methods because it will ensure the hole is concentric. Drills/reams follow what is already there. They make an existing problem bigger in size.

I should of read the print better when I had them thread the barrel now I have to go back there with the break. Maybee Ill just take it to work and chuck it up myself, prblem solved. The recomended is .020 according to the print.

    Tony where have you been?
