The lathe works fine but you have to watch out for the joker turning the dials....

We can do a build thread after you burn up the barrel, so... January?

Do you even own a magazine for that thing that holds more than 10 rounds?

I never will. I'm not sure what you can do with a banana clip on a 10-22 that can't be done in 10 rounds.

Re: Badger M2008 Build

Back to the topic at hand...

Badger Ordnance did the necessary modifications to the AICS:

To use AICS magazines with an M2008, the mag catch needs to be shortened approx: 0.040"

Used some Birchwood Casey Aluminum Black to darken the aluminum that was exposed during inletting. It worked better in some spots than others, an acid brush would probably be ideal, but we didn't have one, so a paper towel had to do.

Re: Badger M2008 Build

It is going to be tiger striped black and dark earth.

Do you want to KG your barrel when we do this one? The glare from a shiny barrel will get you killed in a hot zone.

This.

Re: Badger M2008 Build

My inlet from Badger took 10 days - $120

Turn a round is about 10 days, Just all a note with return shipping info and which mags you will use,

You can keep the skins if you want.

Thanks guys.

Just wondering since mine's been there almost 2 weeks and the check hasn't been cashed yet since the finds are still in my account.

I guess if it doesn't move in the next week I'd give them a call to see if there's any issue

That paper looks almost to perfect to have been shot... did you clean off the frayed edges?

Re: Badger M2008 Build

ryanjay11 is correct, the target used was a Tip Top. It's made of a plastic-like material that produces bullet holes that look like they were punched out with a paper puncher. I really like them for shooting groups because of the clean results.

Re: Badger M2008 Build

Interesting. I might need to look into those. The Shoot N See's are handy but they barely stick to wood and if you scratch them before you shoot them there is no point in having them!
