I'm not running this, but I'm pretty sure it's possible if you bend the magazine's feed lips inward. I think Brownells sells a tool for this.

Properly modified long action magazines are suitable for the 30-06, any competent gunsmith or handy individual will have no problems changing the angles to suit the smaller case dia.
