I took one of their basic courses several years ago. Thinking about taking this course. Has anyone taken the class and what are the general parameters? The course description is somewhat skimpy.....

I took their "Phase 1 Sniper" class years ago and it was outstanding. Somewhat military oriented because Bobby and Steve were military snipers. Plenty of land nav and map reading.

Steve Suttles holds 6th place for the longest confirmed kill in Nam with a bolt action rifle (M40). The guy is very humble.
I'm attending the basic class Thursday through Sunday this week. PM a list of questions and I'll try to get specific answers if you want. Or you could call mr. Whittington; he's been extraordinarily helpful every time I've talked to him.
Good to know as I'll be taking the same class October 17-20, after my TBAC 30BA comes in, so I'd like to hear your thoughts on the course after you're finished.

In a nutshell, it was awesome. I learned a ton, and sent, in my opinion, lots of quality rounds downrange. Steve and Bobby are great, and some of the other guys that show up to help, namely Dustin and Jared, are great to work with also. It was probably the best $600 I ever spent.
That is really great to hear! I am really anxious to get down their in October. It's something I've been wanting to do for quite some time.
Did you receive a certificate of completion or anything of the sort?

I took Basic and Level 1 in 2016, and Urban in 2017.
It contained elements from Level 1 such as doping the guns, at least to 700, but most got to 1,000. We did a number of UKD shoots as well, but Urban delt with more observation exercises and building work. We delt with Urban hides, more positional and just odd positions to shoot from, and a killer exercise that keeps you on the gun for a long time.

I too have taken phase 1 with Bobby. He is a great guy and has been. It’s at work building new unknown distance ranges.
He can really teach you how to use your equipment.
