Re: Ballistic AE .. what is it missing that you want..
The problem I was working on was more of a ballistic loophole, I was using your 3d modeling to show me what the bullet path was doing, then converting Moa to inches at various ranges. The ability to work backwards on a mil ratio formula would be nice. For example, I use my LRF to determine how for a window or doorway is, so I know the range, but I want the dimensions of the door. If I take a mil reading of the height and width, since I already know the range I can calculate the dimensions of the door. Those are just a couple of example, but I find myself going out of the program or keeping a calculator near by to use quite often. It would be great if it was just a tool I could pop up when I needed it. I thought this would be exceptionally useful on the iPad version where you have more room, but I would use it on the AE version as well. Sometimes it's, easier to just do the simple calculations by hand, as I have been doing it that way for quite a while. I could see how you could incorporate working backwards on the mil relation formula with the current mil range portion. I would like the option to enter the fields like on previous versions, rather than just using the wheels. You could just make it so that you would enter any two variables of the problem and the program would give you the third, so if you already knew the range you could mil the target and determine the height. Even if you did this, I would still like to see a calculator pop up, as I use one quite often. I really love the improvements you have made to the app. It is quickly becoming a one stop shop for me. I use this app, one called theodolite and a calculator more than any other I have, Ballistic iPad and Ballistic AE are well worth the money. Thanks for continuing to make them even better.
