Hello,

I've been shooting my airgun more (with components becoming hens teeth or too expensive to play) and I'm looking for a ballistic calculator that is useful i.e. something close to real world trajectories. I've been shooting 30 cal 44.75 gr JSB pellets and experimenting with ChairGun by Hawke, (the only calculator i know of that offers GA coefficients) and the result it gives are uselessly inaccurate even though the inputs are accurate . Anyone shoot airguns + pellets and have any luck with a Ballistic Calculator that can accurately predict trajectory? Or are the GA models unreliable and you've got to make you own custom profiles.

I know this is a bit off of a curveball with most here shooting super sonic powder burners using G1 + G7 and what not, but I figured someone here might have knowlege pertaining to this question.

Thanks!

I dont think this will really apply to you, but....

About the only non-G1/G7 I've used was the RA-4 coefficient for subsonic 22LR rimfire. Even with that, I only used it for a ballpark for holdovers once I got my zero for rabbit hunting. Once I was out in the field, I set out a couple targets at 25 and 50 to see where things actually landed compared to the RA4 and it was reasonably close enough to get some clean meat on the table.
