Gunsmithing Barltlein Barrel Company "Possible Fail"

I sent my barrel over to Bartlein Barrels over 6 months ago for a project and now they will NOT respond to my e-mails or phone calls. Been dealing with "Frank" for over 6 months now and it seems he does not want to send my barrel back to me even though I've requested it TWICE. I called today and the guy who answered said he would tell Frank I called but that came and went I even sent another e-mail for an update and nothing. At this point I just want my to get my original barrel back I sent him to take measurements off of. This whole deal is a complete fiasco and a waste of my time. Any of you guys know is this the way Bartlein Barrels treats there customers? Any help would be great appreciated.

Never had any trouble with the two barrels I got from them. Got them about 2 and 5 months after ordering. They came exactly as I had ordered them. Unlike EVERY other barrel I've got from other makers that had something different than what I had ordered.Twist/contour/flutes have all be out of whack on barrels from other makers. So from here they have done me right. They are all at the aggrivating and seemingly endless shot show along with every other shooting company and his dog. Call later in the week and maybe you can get someone else to talk to. I wouldn't be a bit suprised if they had miss placed your barrel by now. Give 'em a earfull if that is the case and demand a free barrel to replace it. Good luck.


PS: Hey do something with the little movie in your sig. I'm on dialup and it takes freaking forever to load!

If the barrel you are talking about is the .50cal. I did get your email and that you called yesterday but I was on the phone when you called.

I also just got back from Shot Show on Monday and am trying to get caught up on emails (at shop and on the forums) and phone calls.

The .50cal. is a special project and trying to fit it in with all else going on.

Im sorry your experience has been different. Frank/Bartlein has been great for me including comms.....
