Since Oklahoma has finally passed the law that we can hunt with our suppressors I have to rethink my barrel options. Would a #4 contour @ 20" be stiff enough for a Tbac 30p-1 suppressor? If my calculations are correct it would be .730 at 20". I'm thinking that would provide enough shoulder but not sure on the stiffness of the heavy sporter contour + my suppressor. This rifle will be used for coyote and deer hunting, so it will only see few long shot strings for sighting in and whatnot.

As light asthat can is i think that would be plenty stiff.

WShat caliber are you running? I shoot a 16" Madium palma on my 308 with my home made can that about the same size as the TBAC but twice the weight (all 17-4 SS)and the oln accuray issue i have is the groups open slightly with the can OFF
SO it stay on!!

That will work just fine.
