Barrel for .260 build

Need some help, trying to piece together a custom build and am wondering if anyone has a lead on where to find a 1:8 twist, MTU contour (or similar) ? ... preferably w/o a 4-6 month wait

if this should be in gunsmithing forum, feel free to move.

call mike at rock creek, back in november, he got 260 blanks extras that all that needed to be done was countour, got my heavy palma blank in 3wks(lucky me).

I will second the Brux call, they will get you a great barrel in minimal time. I shoot 6.5 mm 1-8" Brux barrels on my F-class rig, the only problem is any misses I have I can not blame on the gun only the nut on the trigger.

Try Brunos Shooter Supply. If you cant find an MTU look for a #17 HV Krieger, it's almost the twinkie to an MTU, very, very close.

I have a 10 mtu 6.5 8 twist brux that is one of my stock barrels. Will finish at 28" if your interested call the shop.

GAP has some 6.5mm Bartlein blanks on hand. Not sure about the twist though.

GAP's barrels are 1-8.5 twist unless something else is ordered special for an individual customer.

plus they have 8.5 twist or 8 twist
