Hi

Can anyone recomend the Barret Bors for the nightforce nxs 5.5-22/56,

Never tryed the setup and im intressted to hear if anyone that uses it can give some info to how practical and if its easy to use for long rang shooting. Need a tactical setup for my new 338lm rigg. Was looking for the premier, but hard to get it exported to my country. So its the us optics or the nightforce that i do have on many riggs, but the barrett bors looks cool to,monlynif it realy works as good as the barrett people say?

Re: Barrett Bors ?

The Barrett BORS is cool but it's a huge waste of money because a good ballistic app for the Android or iPhone such as KAC's BulletFlight will do so much more for $30, saving you over a $1000 to put toward more ammo, an optic, or whatever else.

Re: Barrett Bors ?

Killshot, have you tryed the isnipe app for iphone? Will look into the kac's bullet flight, but if its the same like isnipe i would rater get the chaytac pda.

The barrett bors looks fast to use if your shooting tactical on diferent targets. Has it all almost exept the windegde, but have the kestrel for that..

The price is sick..but if it works quick, it might be good for tactical competitions..

Re: Barrett Bors ?

I have used iSnipe and don't care for it. The KAC BulletFlight app is the best app out there for shooters.

I use iStrelok on my iPhone 4 because it's free and although I have to input everything manually, it does everything I've needed and has a wide range of reticles available for different optic manufacturers.

What it comes down to is, what do you want to spend your money on? If you think you'll be happy with the BORS, get it. Will it be faster and provide more data and variables than a good ballistic app? Absolutely not.
