Barrett MRAD - non 338LM barrels and bolts?

Still have my MRAD and love the form and function of the rifle. Would love a 308 conversion. However, picked up a DTA SRS A1 in August and love it with 260, 308 and 338LM conversions. Still have 2nd DTA SRS on order since March 1st with 308 barrel. Great platform with almost endless barrel conversions. Bullpup design makes great handling compact rifle and Covert option seems to function accurately with 16" barrel conversions!!! Feel the Ballista is overpriced and over hyped!

What's the difference between their current models and the AT Modular Model?

AT is a modular design based on the PSR, as far as I can tell. So like a DTA rifle, you'd have a chassis and different quick change barrel/bolt/magazine combinations.

Pretty sure its a short action only version of the PSR.

The downside is IF its like the PSR......Barrels are going to suck to get. The PSR uses a crazy contour so you have to order barrels in the 1.42" cylinder range for at least the first 5" of chamber area.

Just to bump this thread. I just bought an MRAD in 338LM (26" Fluted Barrel) and a 308 conversion kit. My LGS ordered in stock from the distributor. They will be here next week. 308 mags were a little hard to find, but CTD had them. Can't wait to set my USO ER-25 on it and take it for a walk!

Which is pretty much the same deal as DTA, you have to order a special contour for the DTA chassis to mate up to the extension/barrel region.

I wouldn't call it a "special" contour - just a cylindrical blank with a diameter no less than 1.3" as far as I know.
