I have been searching everywhere I know how, and cannot find this info--from the manual, Tikka website, google searches.

Is the stock picatinny base for the T3 Scout (I imagine it is identical with the Tactical model) a 10 MOA? 12 MOA? 20 MOA?

Mine is a .223, so I don't think I'd need a 20 MOA, as I'll likely be going to 500 yds max.

I'm just a guy who is trying to figure out what Seekins rings to get for his SS 5-20x50 which will (hopefully!) be here within a month.

Any advice is appreciated...I'm a little confused in trying the advice given in the sticky--primarily around getting the value for #2 (when I don't have the scope or rings onhand)

Re: Base height for Tikka T3 Scout?

just going out on a whim here but id assume that the tikka bases are uncanted.

im not sure if you can get away with low rings but im pretty sure mediums would do the trick.

have you looked through the numerous dedicated SS 5-20x50 threads? they are packed with goodness.

DEK,

Thanks for the response...I believe they are uncanted as well. My gut has been telling me mediums should work. Lows would be pushing it.

I've been following the threads--the 'Group Buy' one mostly for amusement now :). But, I haven't seen anyone dropping one of these on a Tikka. I even called SWFA and they couldn't really help, especially not knowing the MOA of the base...prompting my original question.
Thank you though, much appreciated!
