Rifle Scopes Base & Rings question..

I'm new to the Bolt Gun thing and have a couple questions.. I just ordered a SPS Tactical in .308 and now I'm curious what Base & Rings to order.. I'm going with a Leupold MK4, I want something higher quality.... Any suggestions ?

that depends on the objective of your scope,prone,bench,stock.
I like nightfoce or seekins 20moa base with seekins low rings for a 40mm obj scope

It'll be shooting prone mostly with a Leupold 3.5-10x40 Mark 4 LR/T.

I have a 5r with mk4 4.5-14x40 converted to m1 knobs with 20moa nightforce rail and low seekins.Shoot from prone alot and some from the bench and really like this setup.

20 MOA base (Seekins or Badger)
Low Rings (Seekins or Badger)

Its just best to keep the same base and ring manufacturer to ensure a good fit and finish.

Another option is:

20 MOA USO base
SUPER LOW USO rings.

the farrel bases that I have seen seem to be a little taller than the N/F or seekins.Seekins websight has the rear of their rail at .44
