Long Range Tactical will be providing a Basic Sniper Course which you can find and register for on www.LRtac.com that is designed to build a solid foundation of the marksmanship fundamentals, provide understanding of wind and its effects on the bullet, establish a basic understanding of ballistics, discipline in firearms safety, proper shooting positions and sling use, as well an understanding of of each students own rifle, its capabilities, and methods of cleaning and maintenance. By the end of the course each student will have the confidence and knowledge to engage a target to the maximum effective range of their rifle. Each student will be provided a data book, T-shirt, Calculator, student handout, SSR Bag and a certificate of completion.

I am planning on running 1 basic Course and 1 advanced course per month. Currently i am working on partnerships with a Few companies, I wont give out names at this time but these companies are looking to provide gear and equipment for use by students. i will be posting the April Class schedule with in the 2 weeks.

Due to the low availability of ammunition, and unrest in the firearms world today, we have lowered the round count for this 3 day course to 165 rounds down from 250. Also understanding that this post was done late, short notice to some, we are offering an introductory special, purchase 1 seat, bring a friend or family member free or receive 50% off the Advanced Sniper course March 22-24. Currently Long Range Tactical has partnered with Ares Armor in Oceanside, CA- Home of the 80% lowers. We are in the process of switching everything over to them so in the future you will see all post regarding training from Ares Armor. Check out the website at www.AresArmor.com. The range we use is on sovereign land near Temecula, CA. The range is currently not open to the public but is planning for a Public opening in April. Thank you for your interest.
