Rifle Scopes Basset machine M1A mounts

Guys, I have a springfield Loaded M1A I wish to scope.
I do not know if the reciever is out of spec or not, i have read that there were quite a bit of out of spec M1As made about the time i aquired mine.
I have researched and found that the basset [url=mounthttp://www.bassettmachine.com/][url=mounthttp://www.bassettmachine.com/]mounthttp://www.bassettmachine.com/[/url][/url] doesnt rely on recievers to be in spec in order to mount correctly.
They seem to be just what i am looking for.
Anyone who has run one, and can provide any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Bassetts are a single point mount. They still rely on the channels of the receiver to be right. If your concerned with your receiver this mount could be off still because of it. Plus they sit a little high.
Your safest option is mounts from Sadlak. They are based off the Brookfield design. They offer 3pt design that is more stable. They come with a kit containing the US drawings/measurements and two little dowels to accurately check the receiver measurement (you supply the dial caliper/micrometer of coarse). The kit even is available seperately for like $15. For very little you now can know exactly what you got. If it is in spec then your fine use what ever mount you wish, but if it isn't Sadlak will take your receivers measurements and modify their mount to fit it. Being this kit comes with the mount if you bought the kit seperately Sadlak will discount the cost off of your purchase of your new mount so your not paying twice. It is a win win. They are the only company offering top notch quality and will mod their mount if need be for the rifle's receiver. I spent a lot of time researching options, at the time of purchase I had not yet really known if my receiver met spec's or not. Sadlak was the safest best bet and is of high quality. Mounts I think that you really should take a look at given your concerns on your receiver.

Get one and do not look back. I have an original on one rifle and one of their new picatinny low mounts on another rifle. Have had zero problems with either one. IMO the picatinny mounts are the better mount option but either will work.

The Bassett mount will work whether the receiver is in spec or not that is why it is the shite. Try it if you don't like it you can sell it. The Sadlak is excellent, as are the others mentioned.

+2 for the Sadlak. Probably one of the best crafted mounts I have ever seen, and it is the only mount that is guaranteed to fit your receiver.
