Rifle Scopes Battery life in gen 2 PST

Looking for anyone who has experienced very short battery life in a Vortex PST GEN 2 ?
My issue is that when the lit reticle is 100% positively turned OFF the next week or two when i go to use it battery is dead.
I am using brand new top quality batteries fwiw. Anyone else experienced this?

Huh, I haven't seen that at all on my PST Gen II 1-6. I've had it over a year, I replaced the battery once just to be safe but it probably would have lasted. Have you contacted Vortex?

I had this problem in the Gen1. I would have to open the cap every time and readjust the battery and it would work. Later I had an issue where it had to be sent in. The replacement I have now doesnt have this issue.

Eric and mag. Yes I contacted Vortex they said they would send a return authorization. Guess they do take care of their customers. Thanks for the reply.
