Having an issue where the spring loaded lug on the door is not long enough to engage the corresponding recess in the turret. The door flies open when the rifle is being shot and the battery flies out. Has anyone else experienced this? Brand new scope from EuroOptic, was sighting it in last weekend. I would prefer not to have to disassemble the rifle and send this thing in for warranty if possible.
Contemplating drifting the hinge pin out with a punch and repairing or replacing the door, but I don't know if they can be ordered.
The lug is probably 1/16" - 1/32" too short as it stands.
