Night Vision BCO LPMR-T Thermal video recorder

BCO has taken the popular LPMR night vision camera and optimized it for use with thermal devices that utilize the PVS-14 eyepiece. The HALO and Trijicon line of thermals utilize this eye-piece and also suffer from degraded video quality via video out to DVR. The LPMR-T records right of the screen in crystal clear 60 FPS 1920x1080 HD.. Weighs 1.4 ounces and attaches to eye-piece accessory ring. They have designed a new lock ring channel to allow you to lock down the device with a zip-tie or o ring to help eliminate potential movement from recoil. LPMRs are powered by an external usb battery pack of your choice and utilize a micro SD card (up to 128) for data ( can be offloaded via USB). Could you also add a picture of what it looks like to look through? Ie how much or what part of the image is blocked. Also does it make a difference for left eye dominant people since I seem to remember someone saying it came in from the right side?

I can try. It looks like it will be blocked until you establish eye relief and then the camera arm disappears. even if you back off your optic the arm is in the upper 3rd of fov and well above the reticle. One of the benefits of the 14 eyepiece with a screen is that it allows many different head positions while still maintaining a comfortable eye-box.

Just about everyone I show it to in person looks at it and says...."wont that block your view?" I hand it them and immediately they say " oh wow it just disappears" .....but have had a few folks who do not like any of the area being blocked. It's not for everyone but it is the ticket for high quality video outside of a dslr.

Do you have any update on this recorder?

3500 MAh runs it for about 6-7 hrs for me.
