Bedding Tikka in Manners EH1A?

I have a tikka T3x CTR that I purchased a Manner's T6A and when I installed it sans bedding/pillars my groups opened up about .25 moa compared to the plastic stock it came with. I sent it out to a gunsmith and had custom pillars made and had it bedded, and the groups shrank by about .5 moa on average. Your experience may vary, but if you didn't go with the mini chassis, I would definitely recommend pillar bedding. The gunsmith also machined a custom recoil lug since the one that the Manner's stock came with was undersized.

That is one nice rifle I think I am going the same route...Tikka CTR in 6.5 Creedmoor and a Manners Stock that I will get pillared and bedded I live in Chandler so I will most likely use the same place you did.

What’s your rifle weight?

Out of respect to Keith and Brad, I would recommend giving them a call. They are great to talk to and will certainly take the time to answer your questions. Their website will give you an idea for pricing.

Just an FYI, I took a Rifle to Phoenix Custom Rifles to have a Side bolt release mounted on a Remington 700 and the work was substandard. When I called them out on it, I got the run around. They basically screwed up my Rifle beyond a point at which I could get it fixed so beware. Other PRS and F-Class shooters in the Phoenix area have said the same thing.
