Picture doesn't come up...

Never the less, it really doesn't matter what anyone else thinks. What do you think of the groups and are you satisfied with the way your rifle shot?

Re: Beginner Reloader Shot Groups

Yea I couldn't figure out how to get the pic I thought it worked but sorry, I'm very suprised at how my rifle shot being I just got it and just started reloading, I've shot all my life but nothing like what the capacity of my rifle, I staggered three holes on a target and the other 2 were very close so yea I'm satisfied, who knows with a little work on my human error maybe I could get better results

Re: Beginner Reloader Shot Groups

Thanks for the image instructions, I do have a probably common question but I'm loading my 308s to 2.800" oal, some come out to 2.795 and some being 2.805 those numbers being my biggest gaps, my dies are tight, any thing I can do to maybe tweak it to get solid consistent oal, or is this small amount common? I know that sounds oblivious but honestly I am when it comes to reloading

Are you measuring to the bullet tip or the ogive? The tips of bullets vary that is why you need to use a comparator to measure at the ogive. If you're measuring to the ogive you're cases aren't trimmed uniformly.

Re: Beginner Reloader Shot Groups

I am measuring at the tips of all bullets and didn't know about measuring to the ogive so I will look around for a comparator, any suggestions on which to get?
