Behind the Scenes & Match Footage at PRS Blue Ridge 2024 in Benge, WA

Hey Phil, was wondering why you're choosing to run a can over a brake for a PRS match? I have my own thoughts but would like to hear yours. Great vids!

I won't answer for @velayo_0317 but I can say in my personal experience it's about comfort and longevity of shooting. For me, running a brake for 2 days just kills me in terms of comfort. I already have issues with my head and sinuses and hate to add more.

Phil also has no troubles staying on or within ~0.5 mil of the target with a suppressor based on his videos. It certainly isn't holding him back.

Hey bud. At first, I just wanted to try something different. I finally got my own set of cans in 2023 and when I was training and making content with it, it just seemed so much nicer to shoot. I felt less rattled at the end of a training session when I started shooting with a can for my practice and content. I know one of the biggest drawbacks is a little more perceived recoil, but i've never had an issue with recoil management. At the end of the day, I think I ultimately love the shooting experience with the can over a brake especially after the matches I've shot this year with a can.

@velayo_0317 great work on this! I know that takes a lot of time filming and editing, but it shows in the quality. Being able to highlight that one miss where you broke the shot just off the right side of the plate was very cool.
Thanks for doing these. Look forward to seeing more.
