I heard some good reviews about these Bell & Carlson stocks and wanted to try one on my 308. The only thing is I didn't want to drop that much cash on a new one until I learned more about them and heard some more opinions. Any recomendations out there on quality or maybe where I could pik up a good used one??

Excellent quality. IMHO they are higher quality than H&S Precision. Keep in mind that Remington uses B&C on some of their higher end models like the XCR.

I have the a5 on a 700. Decent stock for the money. It is heavy. The grip is a little thinner than the mcmillian.

Have Tactical stock on my 700 .308 and very happy with it. It's adjustable in so many ways that a custom fit is virtually assured.
Hey, it's good enough for Les Baer's newest bolt gun (0.22 MOA with factory ammo!).

A heavy stock, but decide how you'll use it first. For bench, it's no issue.

Haha thats a bit of an understatement.
My buddy had one on his 700. Seemed pretty good. Just HEAVY!
