Can anybody give me some info on this range?I'll be out in Prescott Valley and was thinking of taking a ride there.I know there is a 1000 yrd range but is there anything in between that except for 100yrds?Do they have spotting scopes to use or rent.Is it even worth going there or should I find somewhere else to shoot?I'm going to Boquillas for P dogs can I set up a target there?

Re: Ben Avery AZ

I live about an hour away from Ben Avery. It is operated by AZ Game and Fish. There is a 200yd public range, but the 1k yard range is for organized shoots only. Here is a link to the AZGFD website. BTW it was 115 degrees out yesterday, so that may play into how much shooting you wanna do while you are there.

Re: Ben Avery AZ

There is the Prescott Sprotsmen Club range off Iron Springs Road that has 100 and 200 yard rifle ranges as well as a 22 range and a pistol range. You can set up targets on supplied frames @ 25 yards , 50 yards, 75 yards, 100 yards and 200 yards. Fee is $10 for non members. You can shoot all day if you like. However the temps here. have been in the high 90's to 100 degrees. It's supposed to let up a bit next week.
