I just had to have this knife. I retired my Combat Elite. I like large thin knives. I am kinda a knife whore, but its been a long time since I purchased one for myself, so I got this.

Sotex I'm a Benchmade whore!! If you are a Benchmade dealer did they show you the re-birth of the AFCK! It's a limited edition again!

I can remember when you could buy AFCK's with beer money!! I've got a bunch of them stashed.

They hold up great and hold there edge for a long time. Once they get dull, they are easier to get sharp than any other knife out there.

Re: Benchmade Rep was here.

Those are nice, but I am hooked on the Axis lock system. It makes one handed opening (and almost more importantly for a work knife-closing) a breeze!
I run a mini-Griptillian as my daily work beater (and have for a few years now), and carry a little nice Ares Axis folder.

I want to use the "LifeSharp" for the first time on the daily one, but I don't want to be without it, even for that short time.

I'm no big aficionado of blades, I just have a few that I've found to work really well, and have yet to be let down by a Benchmade. I even ran a RedBox for work for a few years when I was playing in teh dirt daily and it took everything I could throw at it.

Another fan of Benchmade folders here. I do agree with sobrbiker, the Axis system rocks.

A well used and discontinued 923 SBK.

I like this knife so much that I had to buy a few spares (when they were available) just in case I lost it.

I am thinking of getting a benchmade auto, what exactly makes benchmade worth $200? I am almost afraid to use it because of how much they cost lol
