I've got one, not sure mine is carbon fiber, but it's a nice value tripod for sure. I've got one of the heavier ball heads too, works well.

I've got one. Bought over the Manfrot because of its pack size. Really like it. Excellent quality - but I was looking for something I could pack into the back country. Compact and sets up clean. I did notice when using it last weekend that when I extended the bottom leg component - it actually came apart. I'll have to determine why that happened. Must be a lock on them besides the lock ring. Other than that - solid product. Price on carbon is severe next to alum. Not sure its worth the weight advantage.

I was looking to avoid the cost of the Manfrotto 055 carbon, but trying not to give up a lot of quality.
